DESCRIPTION:As tech companies expand their footprint through datacentres and AI infrastructure, their environmental impact is often framed narrowly around energy use. This talk looks beyond that framing to examine how tech elites and techno-utopian thinking are reshaping—and undermining—environmental governance more broadly. Join us online via Zoom for a talk with Dr. Hamish van der Ven (UBC), followed by discussion and Q&A moderated by Dr. Tom Flower. REGISTER NOW10180268
