 Roger Farr

Roger Farr joined the English Dept at Cap in 2001, where he is affiliated with both the Creative Writing and Culture and Technology programs, and is current Editor of Capilano University Editions. The author of a book of poetry, SURPLUS, and co-author of the collaborative research project N 49 19. 47 - W 123 8.11, his creative and critical writing has appeared in numerous journals and magazines, and has been heard on the airwaves of Anarchy Radio (Eugene, Oregon); Free Radio Olympia and KAOS FM (Washington State); Tree Frog Radio (Denman Island, BC); and Temporary Autonomous Radio (Anywhere). Beyond the university, Roger is a member of the Pacific Institute of Language and Literacy Studies (PILLS), and the editor of PARSER: New Poetry and Poetics.

Critical theory; culture and social movements; “everyday life”; history of the avant-garde; poetics; radical media and communication; writing and writing pedagogies.
