CultureNet Blogs

CultureNet currently maintains two blogs:

CultureNet@CapilanoU is our primary program blog.  This blog is updated regularly by students and faculty associated with CultureNet.  The result is an eclectic always interesting collection of student writing, faculty commentary, local and global events, news items, publications and websites that have caught our collective attention.  This blog includes two permanent links to the E-Lit Forum and Student Projects.

The E-Lit Forum is an archive of the Q+A sessions with e-lit producers from around world who have worked with second-year students taking English 21 - Culture + Technology.  Second E-Lit Forum took place in Fall 2009.  This year are guest writers were Megan Sapnar Ankerson, Sharif Ezzat, and Christ Joseph.   This is a joint project of Department of English and CultureNet.  .

The Student Projects page links through to current examples of work being produced by CNET students.  Right now we are primarily featuring "remixes" done in response to local and national news coverage.  For more information on this initiative, go directly to The Capilano Remix Project. A showcase of student e-lit will launching at the end of January 2010.
