Arts & Sciences

Questions are the answer

It's a small world, but it’s filled with big questions. Questions that Arts and Sciences deal with: How did the universe begin? How do we know what we know? What are the benefits of sexual reproduction? An Arts and Sciences education imposes discipline on boundless curiosity, and helps develop critical thinking skills, which are essential for virtually any career you can think of, as well as for a meaningful engagement of the world.

About our courses and degrees

We offer more than 750 first- and second-year university courses in the Arts & Sciences. You can take courses on a part-time or full-time basis in the fall, spring and summer. Most courses transfer to other universities in B.C. In addition, we offer Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Autism). On top of that, we have just introduced a new bachelor degree: the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree.
