Graduates can now apply to have their credentials reissued

June 29, 2015

Graduates can now apply to have their credentials reissued to say "Paralegal" in place of "Legal Assistant" or "Paralegal/Legal Assistant"!

Each graduate who is interested in receiving a new credential must apply individually using the online Application for Replacement Credential form available on the Transcripts and Forms webpages.

Complete the required personal information and then include a note requesting the Registrar's Office to please reissue your credential as "Paralegal Certificate" or "Paralegal Diploma" as appropriate. This will serve as a reminder to staff about the special circumstances surrounding these replacement credentials. The fee for this service will be the standard fee of $35.00 for replacing credentials.

The change in the program name will also be reflected in official transcripts issued to graduates. Please note, however, that Capilano College will still be on the credential if the program requirements were completed prior to Fall 2007.
