Browse through our box office services to find information about purchasing tickets , parking passes , season subscriptions , the membership program and answers to some frequently asked questions .
The Box Office is located in the Birch Building, Room 126 (Theatre Lobby). Purchase tickets in person or with a credit card over the phone. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Interac, cash or cheque.
A capital improvement surcharge has been included in all ticket prices. You will receive your tickets by mail within five to seven days of purchase. Tickets ordered for performances within seven days will be held at the box office for pick-up during daytime box office hours. Any tickets not picked up before the performance date will be available for pick up at the ‘will call’ window one hour prior to show time.
There are several ways to purchase tickets:
Buy online now: Go to Buy Now and click on the show you want to see. You are able to purchase tickets to additional shows once you are logged in. Please note that season subscriptions are not available online.

We can book your seats by phone and answer any questions that you have about our services. The box office is open between 11am and 4pm, Monday to Friday and between noon and 5pm on Saturday. The box office is closed for lunch from 1:30 - 2pm. Please be advised that a credit card is required to make a purchase over the phone. We accept Visa and Mastercard. For security reasons, we ask that you do not leave credit card information on our voice messaging system.
In Person: Come visit us in the Birch Building Room 126 (right next to the theatre), 2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver from 11am and 4pm, Monday to Friday and between noon and 5pm on Saturday. Please note that the box office is briefly closed for lunch from 1:30 - 2pm.
Prepaid Parking Passes
Prepaid parking passes are available for $3 and can be included with your ticket order. Simply place the pass on your dash when you arrive at the theatre.
Subscription Packages
Become a subscriber and save! You can order your subscription by phone or in person. Subscription packages include a free membership.
Mega U Pick: Pick any 10 shows from our season and receive a 20% discount
Season U Pick: Pick any 6 shows from our season and receive a 15% discount
Theatre 6 pack: Receive a 15% discount when you book all Arts Club ON TOUR shows and Exit 22 shows.
As a subscriber you will receive priority seating for Chan Centre performances on single ticket sales; however, the performances are not eligible to be used as subscription tickets.
To order a subscription, please call us and we will mail out your tickets and assist you with seat selection. Unfortunately, subscription packages are not available online.
Membership Program
Become a member for $35 per season to receive exclusive member benefits while supporting the arts in your community.
2010-2011 Member Benefits include:
- One free tea or coffee at all Capilano Performing Arts Theatre performances
- Priority seating at General Admission shows (including North Shore Jazz performances at this venue)
- Opportunities to enter members–only contest to win CDs, signed posters and VIP invitations to after show parties with select performers.
- A 10% discount on all purchases at Churchill’s Lounge (at the Holiday Inn North Vancouver)
- A 15% discount on all purchases at Saltaire Restaurant (West Vancouver)

Can I purchase Gift Certificates?
Gift Certificates can be purchased at the box office at 604-990-7810. Choose any denomination and we will mail you a package.
What if I can't attend the show?
We do not refund tickets but we will gladly exchange your tickets for another show if we are provided with the request 48 hours in advance. If your tickets have already been mailed out, please stop by the box office in the Birch Building Rm 126 (next to the theatre) to exchange your tickets.
Do I need a ticket for my child?
Due to safety regulations, a ticket must be purchased for children 3 or over. Ticket prices are $12 for kids under 12 except the Chan Centre shows and where noted.
What discounts are available?
A senior rate is available for those 65 and older.
We offer members of the Rogue Folk Club a $3 discount to the Folk and Roots series performances. We accept Parcel of Rogue passes for Folk and Roots shows at Capilano Performing Arts Theatre up to a limit of 10 tickets per show. Capilano Performing Arts Theatre reserves the right to exclude a performance from this offer.
Groups of 10+ receive $2 off each ticket. In order to receive this discount, all tickets must be purchased at one time.
Do you provide wheelchair or easy access seating?
Our theatre is wheelchair accessible. To purchase tickets for wheelchair or limited mobility seating, please call our box office at 604.990.7810. We are better able to handle these requests in person or over the phone.
Is hearing enhancement offered?
Our theatre is equipped with the Sennheiser system for the hearing impaired. Please let us know of your request when you book your tickets, or upon your arrival to the theatre.
