Dr. Hammond Tarry started at Capilano in January 2007, having moved to BC from the UK in early 2006.  In the Music Therapy program he regularly teaches the Abnormal Psychology course.  This year he will also be teaching the Principles of Research course to Music Therapy students while another instructor is on leave.  He teaches a variety of other Psychology courses in the Social Sciences department. He has some background in developmental, social and forensic psychology. His main research interests are currently moral reasoning and its relationship to antisocial behaviour, political identity and altruism. Hammond's main hobbies are travel and playing sports, including golf, tennis and soccer.
