Carolyn is an accredited music therapist, specializing in the treatment and renegotiation of trauma through the voice.  Carolyn has taught voice in the Capilano University music therapy program since 2016, and is an RCM trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist.  In Carolyn’s lessons, students are taught practical tools to combine their existing musical strengths with newly honed therapeutic skills, allowing for the effective use of the voice to elicit desired therapeutic outcomes.  Carolyn’s teaching style is informed by years of music therapy and supervision experience, as well as a performance career as a singer/songwriter.
