New Look Library Website

      Posted: October 7, 2016

The Library is excited to have a fresh new online look for Fall 2016!

We're rolling out a new home page and navigation menu designed to update and simplify your online Library experience.

We've already launched our new navigation choices. They've been available in the top left corner of the site for a few weeks. These groupings were based on student testing we conducted this summer.

Thanks to everyone who helped us out - your feedback was invaluable!

Part Two of this project is a fresh-but-familiar look on our home page.

      What's new?

      • fresh bright colours
      • a simplified, flat look with easy access to our Discovery search box replaces the previous tabbed search environment
      • **new** ability to pre-limit Discovery search results to our books and media resource by using new “Catalogue only” checkbox
      • **new** menu bar across the top of the main content block, offering you the same options as the built-in navigation at the top left but in bigger text, brighter colours and more intuitively placed
      • the home-page buttons are now more accessible for assisted viewing with machine-readable html coding

Let us know what you think.
