    • MountainsWelcome to Capilano University’s employment website. We’re glad you’ve taken the time to visit us and invite you to take a closer look at the many reasons why Capilano University is such a great place to work and learn.

Capilano University values the diverse backgrounds and cultures from which its employees come and encourages applications from all qualified individuals regardless of their background or beliefs.

We offer an inspiring work environment and provide the necessary support that will encourage you to reach your full potential. This includes regular professional development training and free tuition to a number of courses and programs for you and your family members. And, if you love nature, you’ll love the convenient location of all three of our campuses that are surrounded by some of British Columbia’s most spectacular scenery.

Explore our site to learn more about current job opportunities and the many benefits of working at Capilano University.

Each competition requires a separate application.

If you do not find a suitable position at this time, please keep checking this site for future opportunities; alternatively, you may send your resume, without a competition, for future considerations. We keep resumes on file for one year.

In filling job vacancies, consideration is given first to internal candidates. Internal candidates are defined as staff covered under the MoveUP collective agreement, with the appropriate seniority as per Article 25.07(b). If there are no qualified internal candidates, the University then considers qualified external candidates.

To qualify for most clerical or administrative positions at Capilano University, candidates must pass a variety of tests. To find out more about these tests, see Staff Testing.

Note: Individuals interested in this employment opportunity must obtain the necessary approvals from the Government of Canada – Citizenship and Immigration department, prior to applying for this position.
