BC Bear Day 2017

Parents and children of all ages are invited to attend Capilano University’s 2017 B.C. Bear Day celebration, co-sponsored by the Raincoast Conservation Foundation, the North Shore Black Bear Society and CapU EarthWorks.

The event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1st at the Cedar Courtyard of Capilano University.

Music, a puppet show, storytelling, fish printing, face painting and presentations focussing on bear safety, and interpretive walks highlighting the natural history of bears will be accompanied by a host of organizations dedicated to preserving bears and their habitats both locally and globally.
