French: Level 1

Designed for people with no knowledge of French, this conversational course introduces you to the basics of French as a second language. The emphasis is on fundamental conversation skills and basic grammar.

A continuation of French: Level 1, this course improves your speaking and comprehension skills, increases your vocabulary, and teaches French idioms and new verb conjugations. At the end of the course, you will be able to correctly express complex ideas in French.

French: Level 3 NEW

A continuation of French: Level 2, this course improves your knowledge and understanding of the French language as well as your strategies to express what you mean. Expect your vocabulary to expand and your use of the language to deepen as you learn adjectives, adverbs, word order and other aspects of language structure.

Spanish Conversation: Level 1

Learn Spanish from an instructor whose first language is Spanish. Created for today’s Sunshine Coast travel students and Spanish aficionados, this course incorporates games and unconventional methods to help teach basic grammar and conversational skills. Text included.

Spanish Conversation: Level 2

Patty’s beginner Spanish class is so popular we had to offer an intermediate level. If you have taken Spanish Level 1 or have a basic knowledge of Spanish and would like to learn more, come and join the fun. We use the same text as Level 1 (available for approx. $22).

Let’s Speak Spanish Workshop

This workshop facilitated by Patty Paez is for individuals who have a base in Spanish language skills and want to develop or maintain them. During this three-hour workshop you will practice your Spanish by speaking, playing games, watching videos and listening to audio samples, etc. Please bring a Spanish/English dictionary to class.
