Fees
Fees may change due to error and/or course changes. To ensure enrolment, full course fees must be paid at time of registration. There is a $25 charge for NSF cheques.
Please note: If you are registering for a one- or two-day workshop and do not wish to pay by cash or credit card, you must pay with a certified cheque or money order.
HST
Courses designed primarily for recreational or general interest purposes will be subject to HST.
Tuition and Education Amounts Certificates
Qualifying tuition fees totalling more than $100 may be used for tax credits for qualifying courses. Tax receipts are mailed to the address in the student registration system.
Course Cancellation and Refunds
Fees paid for courses, camps, workshops, programs or classes of instruction cancelled by the University due to low enrolment will be refunded in full. The University accepts no responsibility for the cancellation or discontinuation of any course, camp, workshop, program or class of instruction that may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, fire, labour problems, or other similar causes, and is not obligated to provide refunds under these circumstances.
Withdrawing from an Eldercollege Course
Eldercollege fees are nonrefundable. The fee, however, may be transferred to another Eldercollege course within the same term.
