Photoshop is a deep application—so deep, in fact, that for newcomers or occasional users it’s hard to know just where to start. And that’s where this course comes in. Beginning with the basics of digital image manipulation, you will progress through the key tools and capabilities available in Photoshop CS5 including layers, masks, channels, special effects, retouching techniques, type and layout. You will also produce original graphics and designs for print and the web using your own photographs or scanned artwork. This is a beginner to intermediate level course.
Prerequisites: Basic computer knowledge using a PC or Mac. If unsure, please contact the instructor before registering.
