FoodSafe: Level 1
If you are a restaurant or food service owner, manager, or an employee in the food service industry, you need information about the prevention of food-borne illnesses. FoodSafe: Level 1 is required for all food handlers, including cooks, servers, dishwashers, bartenders, receivers and storeroom employees in the Lower Mainland, Victoria and Whistler. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate and your name will be entered in a central registry at the Ministry of Health.

Wilderness First Aid
Be prepared for accidents and emergencies in the backcountry! This introductory course developed and taught by Sirius Wilderness Medicine is for individuals who will be participating in outdoor activities. Emphasis is on practical skills, decision making, and dealing with environmental conditions. Upon successful completion you will receive Wilderness First Aid certification from Sirius Wilderness Medicine and CPR and AED certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This course also serves as a recertification for the 40-hour Wilderness First Aid for Outdoor Leaders course. A course manual is included in fee.
