Nancy has taken on a variety of roles at
Capilano University including Training Consultant, Coordinator of Contract
Services, Business Faculty, Business Co-op Convenor, Convenor of the Computing
Unit and the Strategic Management Unit in the School of Business and Chair of
the Capilano Faculty Professional Development Committee. She teaches
Management, People Management, Workplace Development and Non-Profit Management.
Prior to Capilano she was an Organizational Development consultant at UBC, HR
Dept and a management consultant with Harris Hudema Consulting in Vancouver
(planning and economic development). In a previous career she was an urban
planner and worked for the District of North Vancouver Planning Department for
a number of years.
Nancy holds a recent Doctorate in
Education (transformational change) from SFU. Her research focuses on
designing business simulation games. She also holds a Masters in Community
Planning (UBC) and a Masters in Education (UBC) where she focused on employee
training and development programs.
