Mary Charleson is a marketing speaker, educator and strategist. She is the author of two books, Word of Mouth Mouse & Mobile (2013) and Five-Minute Marketing (2010), each featuring tips for the time starved entrepreneur, marketing manager or student. Mary is a marketing speaker and member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and the Global Speakers Federation. She delivers keynotes and presentations for private companies, associations, and conferences.
As a marketing speaker and educator, Mary's career spans over 20 years in media sales, advertising creative development, production, marketing management, education and research. She established Charleson Communications in 1991. She holds an MBA in marketing, and has taught marketing at City University of Seattle, Capilano University, NYIT, Acsenda School of Management, and has guest lectured at UBC Sauder School of Business. Her company Charleson Communications has worked with over 200 business and organizations to improve their marketing efforts. Since 2002 she has written a monthly column on strategic marketing issues for Business in Vancouver. Her work has also been published in Marketing Magazine, Strategy, and the Toronto Star.
