"Martha Redbone is a charismatic indie-soul diva whose sound is the just-right mix of retro and modern." Time Out New York
Martha Redbone defies categorization. Perhaps this is part of her undeniable charm. With a sensitive, rich and versatile voice that easily moves between genres she is forging a new path in the world of Americana, representing both her Native American (Cherokee, Shawnee and Choctaw) heritage on her mother's side and the African-American roots from her father. Equally influenced by Tanya Tucker and the Jackson Five as a child in Kentucky, her music took on a life of its own culminating in her latest album, Garden of Love which features roots versions of William Blake's poetry. Sit back and enjoy an evening of one-of-a-kind original tunes, blues, roots, gospel and soul with a distinct Native American influence.
