We are pleased to launch the inaugural issue of Cap It that will bring you news about alumni events and what’s currently newsworthy at Capilano. We plan to publish the newsletter three times a year to begin and welcome your comments and suggestions. Please send us an e-mail to share your thoughts with us and forward this newsletter to alumni you know who may not have received it.

Be sure to let us know what you’re up to and if you change your contact information.

We look forward to hearing from you!

In each issue, we plan to profile one of Cap’s amazing alumni. Meet James Brown, a rising star in the film industry.

Two-time LEO award recipient and trailblazer in the film industry, Cap alumnus James Brown’s film, Never Steady, Never Still, will be featured at one of Canada’s top film festivals. Brown, a member of the CU Alumni Association’s original board of directors, is testament to the well-rounded filmmakers graduating from Cap’s Motion Picture Arts program. Meet the CUAA Board

The CU Alumni Association (CUAA) board is comprised of a dynamic group of diverse Cap alumni representing a variety of faculties and departments from Arts & Entertainment Management to Legal Studies. Together with the University's alumni office, the CUAA coordinates programs of interest to alumni to keep them engaged with their University.

The CUAA continually seeks alumni who are passionate about Cap and want to give back in a meaningful way to the University, to serve on the CUAA board or volunteer for a CUAA committee.
