Tuition & Fees Estimator
This program will introduce the process for creating traditional and computer animation. Participants will have an opportunity to learn and practice animation techniques through hands-on exercises. Dates for summer 2018: July 3 - August 24, Monday-Friday.
The following topic areas will be covered:
Drawing for Animation Gesture Drawing, Anatomy Basics, Cleanup and Inbetweening
DesignCharacter Design, Layout Design, Perspective Basics, Animation Posing
Animation Principles and Timing Principles of Animation, Timing, Animating to Dialogue, Character Animation
Digital AnimationIntroduction to creating Computer Animation using Adobe Flash software
Portfolio deadlines for summer 2018: (A completed application to Capilano University is required before a portfolio will be reviewed).
- January 31 for early acceptance consideration, results will be sent out late February or March- March 15, results will be sent out late April
