I have enjoyed contributing to the Capilano HCA program by providing placement opportunities at Kiwanis Care Center. The students are motivated, ready, willing and able during their placements and we are always very keen to offer positions when they graduate. The Capilano course structure ensure they are both competent and confident to start their new roles as part of a resident centred care team.~ Jane Webley L.LB RN

Capilano University's Health Care Assistant Program is simply the best education for Health Care Assistants in the Lower Mainland. As an in-home care provider based on Vancouver's North Shore, it is important to me to know that we can have a source of locally-trained health care assistants who are fully equipped to provide excellent care to our clients. Faculty members work diligently to ensure that the education provided is first class and that the student experience is extremely positive. For HCA training, there is no better place to go!~ Fiona Kelly

Through regular liaison with Capilano University, we are assured that the HCA education program is in line with current skill and knowledge needs of our facility. We therefore know we can consider these students with confidence when we look to employ HCAs. As a facility, we are happy to offer practicum experience to the students and we often employ the graduates of this program.~ Pauline Critchley
