March 29, 2011: Capilano University shows its love for Japan

      (NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)—Capilano University will present a book of condolences to Japanese Consul General Hideki Ito on Thursday, March 31. In attendance will be the Hon. Naomi Yamamoto, British Columbia’s minister of advanced education.

      Prior to official ceremony
      Thursday, March 31, 2011
      Noon – 1 p.m.
      Capilano University's North Vancouver campus
      2055 Purcell Way
      Multipurpose room in the Sportsplex 

      Activities:
      Japanese students involved with fundraising on campus will be holding a Japanese paper crane-making workshop
      Music students will perform
      Sushi and Japanese tea will be served
      Guests will include international students at Capilano University

      Official ceremony
      Same location as above (Multipurpose room in the Sportsplex)
      1 – 1:30 p.m.

      Capilano University will present Japanese Consul General Hideki Ito with a book of condolences,
      signed by university students and employees
