      (NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)—In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Music Therapy program at Capilano College, Music Therapy instructor and classical pianist, Nancy McMaster, will be performing on September 17 at 3 p.m. at the Capilano College Performing Arts Theatre. This solo concert of classical piano is in support of music therapy in B.C. Tickets are $15 and are available in advance by contacting Nancy at nmcmaste@capilanou.ca, or at the door. Capilano College is located at 2055 Purcell Way in North Vancouver. Parking is $3.

      CalledRapt in Music, the performance will be a celebration of the sweet power of music and music therapy. McMaster promises many moments of passion, peace and power. The program is completely classical and will include some familiar pieces (such as Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Debussy's Clair de Lune) and many gorgeous works by other well-known classical composers. It is expected to sell out early.

      A reception will follow the concert in the Theatre lobby. Media is welcome to attend.
