July 31, 2006: New dean of Business programs at Capilano College

      (NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)—Paul Dangerfield has accepted the position of dean of business programs at Capilano College. Paul replaces former dean of business, Catherine Vertesi, who has been appointed vice-president, education, management and international programs at Capilano College.

      Paul has held senior management positions in Canada and has extensive overseas experience. A co-founder of Sustainable Leadership Solutions, Paul has also instructed in both the College’s School of Business and Global Stewardship programs. He holds a B.Sc. and an MBA.

      Catherine was at the University of British Columbia for 19 years before joining Capilano College in 2001. She is on the Board of the Leadership and Management Development Council of British Columbia (LMDC) and is a member of the North Shore Business Council. A former Board member of the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), Catherine was a recipient of CBIE’s Internationalization Leadership Award.
