(NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)—Associates from the McRae Institute for International Management at Capilano will benefit from a newly formed academic partnership in Europe.

EAE, Barcelona’s School of Business of choice for 48 years, has agreed to offer McRae graduates access to their Masters of International Management program. After completing 12 credits in Barcelona (approximately 120 contact hours) and a Masters thesis supervised by Escuela de Administration de Empresas de Barcelona (EAE) faculty, McRae alumni will receive a Master of International Management from EAE. Courses will be in English with the option to attend some in Spanish.

“Our Latin American Management program’s (LAMP) specific focus on the region is part of what attracted EAE to McRae,” says Mitra Kiamanesh, McRae’s director of external relations. “By the same token, Europe’s distance from Asia makes our Asia Pacific Management Cooperative program (APMCP) graduates highly appealing to the European business community and EAE, given our closeness to the region and the special insight and expertise we have gained.”

EAE is a common partner of INSEEC and pride themselves in being flexible, dynamic and close to the business community. Leading the faculty at EAE are outstanding European and Spanish business professionals who are fully immersed in the global economy and who understand the realities of global business management and the needs of international managers. EAE has an alumni network of 52,000 business professionals throughout the world.

“The partnership with McRae keeps EAE true to its mission of serving global business managers,” Kiamanesh adds. “Sixty per cent of EAE’s students are international with many from Latin America. Spain is a close trading partner with various Latin American markets.”

Miguel Moran, the International dean of EAE, joined the LAMP mid-term in Havana to announce the partnership. Moran is a passionate and knowledgeable speaker on a wide range of topics – in eight languages! His dynamism and sharp business savvy are an indication of why this program is not to be missed. Plus, who could ask for a better place to study than Barcelona!
