      (NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)—Capilano College presents a free lecture with Amnesty International regional development coordinator for BC-Yukon, Don Wright, on Tuesday, November 2 at the College's Cedar building, room 148 at 2055 Purcell Way in North Vancouver, from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m. The topic will be on Amnesty's most recent publication, Stolen Sisters. Amnesty International is joining Indigenous families across Canada in urging immediate government action to ensure the safety of Indigenous women in Canada. The lecture is cosponsored by the College’s Global Stewardship program, Women’s Studies department and Political Studies department. Parking is $3.
