(NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)—The Capilano Students’ Union and the Harassment committee are sponsoring two free performances of the Vancouver Fringe production Dissolve at the Capilano College Performing Arts Theatre on Wednesday, March 17 at 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Dissolve is a one-woman play written and performed by local actor, Meghan Gardiner. The 50-minute performance deals with club drugs and the violence that can accompany them. A discussion panel will follow the late show with the actor, an RCMP officer, a student in the club business and someone from Gab Youth Services.

Vancouver Sun entertainment critic, Alan Hindle, said about the performance: “Telling her story mostly through the eyes of those oblivious towards date-rape drugs, bound by brief scenes of a girl getting ready to go out, Gardiner’s timing is sharp and her characters funny and recognizable. Overall, this is a rewarding show.”
