(NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)--Are you stuck in a rut? Is your job taking you nowhere fast? Capilano College is holding a special event on Tuesday, April 9 that could change your life. Career Directions 2002 will be held in the Birch building atrium at the North Vancouver campus, 2055 Purcell Way, from 5 to 8 p.m. It is an ideal opportunity for people who are exploring career options or seeking a new career path.

Booths staffed by both faculty and students will offer information on more than 20 career and vocational programs offered at Capilano College. Find out what it takes to be a Web designer, child-care professional, business manager, film director, paralegal and much more! These programs lead to diplomas, certificates, associate degrees and degrees offered in conjunction with the Open University. Special presentations will be made along with more detailed program information sessions.

Whether it's for a job change or for high school students deciding which educational path to follow, this free event will help people make important decisions in their career direction. It will also hold many surprises, including door prizes, a draw for a whale-watching trip for two, and live entertainment.
