Our ELS Faculty liaison, Rachelle Jorgenson is available to attend departmental meetings to inform instructors about the ELS Centre and provide advice regarding the specific learning needs of non-native speakers of English.
You can team with Rachelle to provide in-class workshops designed to target learning challenges specific to your curriculum. For example, this past Fall, Rachelle conducted several workshops with the ECCE Department on APA format, paraphrasing/quoting, smoothly integrating evidence and paragraph structure.
All ELS Workshops, except for one, are on Wednesdays from 11:30am -‐12:50pm in BR 166 from January 27-‐ March 16th, however, no workshops are scheduled for Week 6 (Reading Week). Additional workshops may be added at a later date.
