I recently came home from a month worth of traveling around Eastern Europe. Even though it was tiring at times but it definitely reeked of awesomeness in an epic scale. I saw some of the most beautiful cities Europe had to offer. I’ve dined by coast of Croatia overlooking an endless horizon of water. I’ve trespassed through Vienna’s most breathtaking wine vineyards. I’ve picked and ate stinger nettles off someone’s backyard to save a few bucks. I’ve visited a few shooting locations for Game of Thrones. I’ve even jumped off a moving train and landed on my back because I woke up right when they were departing from my station… But some of the most “wow…..” moments were the ones when I was overlooking as entire city from afar. It felt like I was on top of the world.
It's kind of a cliché to say this but I really do mean it when I say its life changing... You look your whole life and now you finally see. You hear the day you were born but now you finally listen. Your heart beats but now you truly live a life in a world that is… the world.
How you want to spend your time studying abroad is entirely up to you. You make your own story here. If drinking every night is your thing then power to you. But just remember, it’s your trip and no one else. Make it last… And may the odds ever in your favour…
