Charles was originally a student at Capilano College after high school, earning his Associate in Arts and Science. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s (Honours) and Master’s degree in Physics at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He then worked in Ottawa at the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing as a remote sensing scientist. After that, he managed machine vision and software development projects at a few local companies before joining the faculty at Capilano University in 2005.
His interests include using technology to enhance educational outcomes.
In ABE, Charles teaches Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Math and Computer Science.
