      Sexual Harassment

If you have or are experiencing Sexual Harassment [link], in addition to the available informal process with or without the help of the Advisor, the Harassment Policy [link] provides two formal options:

      • a formal mediation process using an outside mediator
      • an administrative process including an investigation, a finding of whether or not harassment (as defined by the policy) occurred, and a decision as to the conseques (if it was found to have occurred) to be finalized by the University President.

In addition, many aspects of what is generally considered Sexual Harassment can also be defined as Discriminatory Harassment [link]; if your situation fits the definition, you have the right to make a Complaint to the Human Rights Commission [link].
