I have a position open for my high functioning ASD 10 year old son. He attends an after school social group program for children with special needs after school from 3pm to 6pm. I require an 1-1 aide to support him. You will basically be working in a group with other similar children and their aides so you are never alone. The kids go on walking field trips and learn important social and every day skills. This position runs for the entire school year and 2 weeks of summer. Please note this position is offered through the MCFD and you can get great references and experience, particularly helpful for anyone looking to get experience and hours towards an ECE, ABA, or Special Ed program.
