Everyone is welcome to attend this day of remembrance. We will open with a Memorial Ceremony in honour of the fourteen women murdered on December 6, 1989, at L'Ecole Polytechnique and the many Indigenous women who have been murdered or gone missing across our country.
Memorial Ceremony 11:30 - 11:45 a.m. Following the ceremony, short documentary films will run until 2:30 pm including: After the Montreal Massacre, National Film Board of Canada (2012), The Unsolved Murder of Leah Anderson, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2015), December 6th: Canada's National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, by Christine McDowell (2006)
