Printing and colour copying use the PaperCut system. See the IT Services printing information page or ask at the Library IT Services for further assistance. Whenever you are copying or printing, make sure you are abiding by copyright regulations.
Please note: The Library has no cash on the premises. We are unable to make change.
A PaperCut pay station is available inside the Library printer area. You can send a print job to the printers, then add money to your account and log in to release your job.

There are multiple printing options in the Library. Each Library computer is set to default to one of the laser printers.
For other printing labs on campus, visit the IT Services information page.
Wireless printing is available on campus. Visit the IT Services Wifi Printing page to find out how.
IT Services has also created these instructional videos for wireless printing in Windows and Mac OSx.
There are 3 colour/B&W photocopiers (which are also printers) in the Library printer area and 1 B&W photocopier located in the Reserves area behind the Library Services counter. Like the printers, all Library photocopiers operate on the PaperCut system. To copy or scan, simply log in to the machine with your CapU username (firstnamelastname; ex. janesmith) and password. You must have money on your PaperCut account - add more at the PaperCut pay station, located in the printer area of the Library.
All the Library’s printer/photocopiers have scanning functions built in. Scanning is free but you must have at least 25 cents on your PaperCut account to be able to scan. There is also a desktop scanner located in LB128 which is free for students to use.
The Capilano Students' Union offers faxing services for students in the CSU Library Lounge (LB195). There is no fax machine in the Library, but you can scan and email documents (see Scanning above).
