      (NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C.)--The Capilano College Women’s Studies department presents three free events this month as part of the Honourable Thomas A. Dohm, Q.C. fall lecture series. Nicole Rycroft, head of Markets Initiative, a non-profit organization that works with companies to find alternative ancient-forest-friendly products and the recipient of the 2006 Canadian Geographic Gold Award for Sustainable Living, speaks on Tuesday, November 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Library building, room 322.

      Andrea Reimer, executive director of the Western Wilderness Committee and former Vancouver School trustee, and Janet Weigand, past-president of the Canadian Women’s Congress and author of Women and Electoral Reform, speak on Monday, November 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Library building, room 322.

      Adriane Carr, leader of the Green Party of B.C., will speak on Wednesday, November 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Cedar building, room 148.
