Cindy acquired her CGA in 1993 and is also a certified computer programmer, information systems professional, has a general certificate in municipal management and a diploma from Capilano College. She is the past president and an honorary lifetime member of the Municipal Information Systems Association of B.C., as well as a member of the Certified General Accounting Association, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and a member of the Canadian Information Society.
The position of chief information officer is a newly established one that will play a strategic role in delivering systems and technology that provide for the needs of all College employees.
“Basically, I will work to foster an integrated vision of business processes that are enabled through technology while ensuring that the increasing technology-dependant day-to-day operations run effectively and efficiently,” Cindy explains.
She will be working closely with all members of the College community and looks forward to meeting people and learning about what they do.
